I have over 20 years of experience working in different fields, providing support to a variety of professionals. Now, small businesses hire me on a contract basis to act as their part-time business manager and virtual assistant.
I live in Burlington, Ontario with my husband and our 3 daughters.
Here’s more of my story:
Throughout the first two decades of my career, I was fortunate enough to work in a variety of fields, including retail management, municipal government, law and events. I’ve had roles ranging from sales associate & manager, assistant to the Mayor & managing partners of a global law firm, as well as becoming the managing director of program operations at a boutique events firm. Each of these roles provided me with invaluable experience.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to lead large teams and collaborate with small ones. I’ve introduced new processes, and implemented changes to existing ones. I’ve also had the privilege of working on significant projects as well as those of a smaller scale. My professional experience has been diverse, providing me with a wealth of knowledge and skills to draw upon in any given situation.
When my daughter started school we were still in the midst of the pandemic, and I realized that I didn’t want to miss out on life’s little moments. I wanted to be there to walk her to school everyday, to go on field trips, and volunteer for pizza lunches. I wanted more flexibility and control over my time, so that I could be there for my daughter (while she still wanted me around).
And so, after parting ways with my long-time corporate employer at the end of 2022, I founded Morgan Virtual Solutions. This allows me the flexibility to be there for my daughter while still pursuing my passion for helping small businesses succeed.
